Have managed another Christmas card this morning using a new Mabel Lucie Attwell stamp from The Artistic Stamper. Have a look at these cute little pixies.

This card mixes purchased pattern paper and some stamped. The swirls in the centre panel are from Artistic Stamper’s Flourished Swirls plate and the polka dots are from their Design Essentials range. The pixie is stamped with chocolate Brilliance ink and heat embossed with clear powder, water coloured, cut out and mounted with sticky dots. Some computer text, stitching and ribbon finish this card off!

Hope you like this ‘creation’. The plan this year was to make all my own Christmas cards but I think I have left it a little late! Oh well – maybe a few people will get the handmade look.
This card is made with Baisc Grey Wassail paper and a beautiful Christmas stamp from The Artistic Stamper. Other items used include an edge punch, a pine branch punch and some small beads and brads.

Card and art making has been a little slow for the last week or two, but I am still playing with the gorgeous Artistic Stamper collections. This card is made with a stamp from the Mabel Lucie Attwell range. Embossed with black the image is water coloured using distress inks and then mounted and layered with patterned papers from Basic Grey (Wisteria). A bit of machine sewing, some Primas, ribbon and a border punch complete the look.

This card is made using a Design Essentials plate from The Artistic Stamper. The flowers on this plate are VERY versatile. I love them.

Flowers are stamped in black, clear embossed then cut out and layered as shown. The red card at the bottom is stamped with white and black inks. The white strip has computer generated ‘Happy Birthday’ and its border is made using a Fiskars edge punch. The top white strip uses the cuttlebug ‘dots’ folder to add some texture.
I am entering this in the Play Date Cafe challenge this week.

This is my entry for the Play Date Cafe challenge this week. The challenge is to use the colours orange, yellow and brown (or black).

The heart and flowers are cut from grungeboard and cloured with Distress inks in Mustard Seed and Spiced Marmalade. Text stamps from Above the Mark are used on the heart and the flowers are made using Paperartsy stamps. The butterfly is also a Paperartsy stamp and is cut from Ten Seconds Studio metal. The Ten Seconds Studio tools are used to outline and emboss using techniques learned from Lin B and Leandra on last weekends Artsy Crafty workshop.
The Artsy Crafty weekend was just great and you have probably seen the projects already but just in case you haven’t here are my efforts. My clock:

My favourite project was this little UTEE’d piece already to turn into a fridge magnet or ‘pin’:

Then we did a small box:

And finally a lovely little accordian book:

I was pretty tired by the time we got to this project and it is full of small errors – don’t look too closely! All the stamps used were from Paperartsy range – they’re gorgeous and lots of Ten Seconds Studio metalwork. Lin and Leandra were great hosts and teachers as usual

This is my ATC for September’s swap in our group. The theme for this month was chosen by Debbie who picked ‘favourite Beatle lyric’ - I couldn’t think of anything for my favourite (Here, there and everywhere)so came up with this instead

Split Coast Stampers are a great resource and their challenges are very inspiring. This is the Sunday featured stamper challenge where a fellow subscribers gallery is chosen and any card in there ‘cased’ i.e. your take on it. Here’ Chris’s gallery and card and here’s my ‘copy’.

This ATC was made for a private swap group who make an ATC a month for 9 months and for 9 participants. This started in August and the first theme chosen by Pauline was Impressionism. I chose Degas (on the fringe of that movement perhaps) and this was my effort

A few items today. The ‘bathing beauty’ is for a deco round robin and the ATCs ‘just because’.
