Archive for the ‘Challenges’ Category

January 2nd 2010

Here is a card I made yesterday on a very beautiful New Years day here in the UK  – frost and sunshine – and it looks like being the same today. The flowers are stamped, embossed and cut out. The stamp used is from The Artistic Stamper Design Essentials  range – check them out – these plates of unmounted stamps are so useful. I have stitched beads in the centre of each flower to embellish.

The sentiment can be computer generated.

The colours used are from this weeks Play Date Cafe challenge

and card layout is a Caardvarks design (I have changed it a little).

Marci and Lots to Do

I went down to The Stamp Attic yesterday and picked up Marci – a Stampotique original. She is pretty cute!

The Stamp Attic has a brilliant selection of stamps and is well worth a visit.

Here’s Marci transferred onto an ATC which is my entry this week into the Lots to Do challenge. The other stamps used are from Paperartsy, including a new (and very useful) background ‘mini’ (No 56 – coffee rings?), which seems to suit Marci!.

This card is using Mojo Monday 104 sketch and I will also count it in for the Basic Grey challenge (embossing) and Rainbow Lady’s challenge (Christmas with stars) – the stars are subtle but they are there!
